I surrendered on the TB16 because of all of its problems and went to the Dell WD15. The reason is the TB controller on TB16 isn’t certified by Apple, that’s why the tb3unblocker is needed, but as a third party solution, you can’t have the guarantee that it’ll work in all the devices available.
